Once upon a time Luci moved to the mountains of Park City, Utah. And overnight her sensitive skin turned ultra-sensitive. Eczema. Perioral dermatitis. Dryness on dryness. Breakouts. All made worse by every skincare product out there.
After countless unsuccessful dermatologist visits, topical steroids on repeat, antibiotics, patch testing (yes, patch testing!!), special diets, vitamins, lotions, potions, and swearing off every single beauty product out there (why does everything have hidden fragrance like limonene), Luci decided to bottle up years of research and create something for herself. She sourced the purest, organic, antioxidant-rich, super-nutrient, non-comedogenic oils (no more clogged pores) and got blending. And just like that, Oi Luci was born.

The Luci behind Oi Luci
Luci is an outdoor loving girl with super sensitive skin. She lives in the mountains of Park City, UT where her sensitive skin is put to the test through the high-altitude elements (think dry! cold! snow! wind!).
Luci's skincare journey began in her early 30s when she started to develop perioral dermatitis. Unable to find a moisturizer with calming and nourishing ingredients like sea buckthorn oil that didn't also have a zillion mysterious, unpronounceable filler ingredients and hidden fragrance (limonene or essential oils), she decided to make her own. Enter Oi Luci!
She is a lover of skiing, hiking, biking, hot yoga – and is rarely found without a bottle of Oi Luci nearby. It’s her must-have for keeping her skin hydrated, nourished, and protected pre– and après–sweaty adventures.
When not mixing up oils at 7,200ft altitude, Luci works with SOS Outreach, a youth mentorship nonprofit that uses skiing and snowboarding to create equitable opportunities for 3,400 youth across 15 communities. She is also a freelance illustrator at lauralucie.com.
